Why Camp Copperhead? If you're looking for pastures dotted with old wood and wire fences, and wholesome, down home, extremely friendly people, this is the place. If you're looking for a rural, family-friendly campground not too far off the beaten path but far enough to provide a relaxing atmosphere to slow down life's pace for a time, this is the place. If you're idea of camping ranges from setting your lounge chair in the middle of a rambling creek and plopping down with a good book, to exploring in the woods, on shaded trails criss crossing over mountainsides, this is the place. When my sister Vicki and I first visited the campground we fell in love with the scenic views, the peaceful and relaxing pace, but mainly we loved the idea of owning a small, rural campground on the land we wanted to retire on. It's like always having company over! And coming from a very big, extended family we've grown accustomed to having lots of company! That's why Camp Copperhead! |
